At the time, I was a senior executive, commuting 200 miles every few days, frequently traveling overseas, and balancing life as a mum and stepmum to 3 boys. My life was incredibly stressful, and I didn’t realize how these symptoms were quietly taking over.

The start of two weeks at an Ayurvedic retreat in Kerala. Daily treatments include consultation with a dr, massage, head oiling, nasal cleansing, yoga and meditation. Then on to pancha karma starting tomorrow!! It’s been a dream to learn more about Ayurveda for my nutrition business. This is India and it’s my ancestral home - how lucky I am. 🇮🇳

This year I have been experimenting with a high raw vegan lifestyle. Being a raw vegan is not about being perfect. It’s about understanding how living foods in their natural state bring life into your whole being. How the lifeforce in food freshly picked can bring you back to health and vitality. 2023 has been a year of many new discoveries and it’s not over yet. These are just a few of my creations so far! 🪴🌹🥕🥬

Sunday is all about self healing. Freshly juiced 4 litres of watermelon with fresh lime and mint in my new Nama 2 juicer from @namawell. Coffee enema to heal and detoxify the liver, reading The One Straw Revolution by Masanobu Fukuoka @f.masanobu.shizen_official in the hot tub to soothe away aches and pains and learn about alternative food and farming movements. Castor oil pack to detox the liver, reflexology massage on the kidney and adrenal points on the feet using therapeutic essential oils from @younglivingeurope and guided by the wonderful Farida Sharan @sharan.farida who I am lucky to be working with on this amazing self healing journey to wellness. Face packs and soothing steam treatment with herbs from @northernherbs. Finishing it all with a yin yoga class tonight @fringe.yoga with the lovely @yoga.by.lydie. Happy Sunday vibes 💙

Sea vegetables are chock full of vitamins and minerals. Home made soup with kelp, wakame, dulse, kelp and agar. Topped with spring onions and a little organic miso paste stirred in. Added a little tremella, a medicinal mushroom used in Chinese medicine which is full of antioxidants and nourishing for your skin. Finished with some sprouted seeds. Deliciously healing 🍲
